“If you had asked me two years ago, I would have said you get used to having a new book out. “It does feel momentous, especially coming out of these COVID years, when my books kept getting pushed off,” the 60-year-old Rollins said from his home near Lake Tahoe. This may be Rollins’ 38th book, but the thrill of sending a new novel out into the world is seismic.
